Wayside Valley Belted Galloway Cattle

Scrapbook

The original Wayside herd (a purebred Shorthorn herd) was owned by Leanne’s great-grandfather, Jacob Birckelbaw. Because the Fogle Farm is nestled in a valley next to Interstate 74, the original herd name was adapted to Wayside Valley Belted Galloways.

Over the years, Ross, Rachel and Ryan Fogle have shown the Wayside Valley cattle at many shows across the United States. They are members of the Belted Galloway Society, Inc.

Today Ross and Rachel are former 4-H, FFA, Beltie Youth Group, and collegiate livestock judging team members. Ryan is in high school and a member of 4-H, FFA, the Belted Galloway Junior Association, and has begun competing in livestock judging competitions. Ross and Rachel both enjoy careers in agriculture.
